Hi there! Cahyati Press is a publishing and printing experiment. It is an attempt at taking the pressure off of bookmaking and -selling; a long distance collaboration between Bali and Meanjin (Brisbane in so-called Australia) by two long-time friends, Syarafina Vidyadhana and Kat Methanisa.

Our brick and mortar bookstore / studio officially opened in December 2022. To support our publishing projects and community events, we sell new and secondhand books and zines that we source directly from independent publishers and distributors based on our personal interests and friends’ recommendations. Our goal is to be the island’s thoughtful source of textual delight!

Our subscription-based risograph printer was launched for community use in 2024. Find out more about it in our wiki.
